Angling, Body Contact & Puck Protection
2025/26 Fall/Winter
This program runs for 21 consecutive weeks, consisting of 1 one-hour session per week.
This program focuses on teaching hockey players how to angle effectively and use body contact with purpose and control. Players learn how to steer opponents into low-danger areas, close gaps safely, and use their bodies to separate players from the puck while staying within the rules. Emphasis is placed on proper positioning, stick-on-puck techniques, timing, and confidence when initiating or receiving contact.
Another component to this program is geared towards teaching players how to confidently protect the puck under pressure using body positioning, awareness, and skating control. Drills focus on keeping separation, handling contact along the boards and in open ice, and making plays while maintaining puck possession.

Full payment is required at time of registration via e-transfer to julieallenhockey@gmail.com. Once payment is received, your daughter's spot is confirmed in the program.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
Registration fees are payable in full upon registration in order to confirm a spot in JA Hockey programs. In the event that participants would like to cancel a registration, please note the tiered refund policy below:

If a cancellation is made between 14 and 30 days from the start of the program, a full program refund will be processed.

If a cancellation is made between 7 and 14 days from the start of a program, a 50% program refund will be processed.

If a cancellation is made less than 7-days from the start of a program, no refund or credit will be applied.
No refunds will be offered once the program has begun, or offered for missed classes or sessions regardless of when the cancellation was made or circumstances.
If we are forced to cancel a session of the program due to arena closure, cancellation, or another unexpected event, a refund will be processed.
